Brian Roth serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Rocade LLC, and leads the firm’s strategic direction, new business initiatives, investment structuring and capital raising.  He has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry with most of his career serving in a fiduciary capacity in principal investing roles.  After identifying law firm lending as an attractive niche asset class, Brian spearheaded the launch of Armadillo Financial Partners LLC in 2014 as a specialty finance platform targeting the sector, which is the predecessor to Rocade Capital.  The strategy originated within EJF Capital LLC, a financial services-focused institutional alternative asset management firm which Brian joined in 2009, where he served as Senior Managing Director focused on special situations and event-driven investing in both public and private investments.  Since inception of the strategy, Brian has overseen the deployment of over $1.3 billion of litigation-related investments.

Prior to joining EJF, Brian was a founder and Managing Partner of Capital Atlântico LLC, an investment advisory firm focused on Brazilian real estate equity and debt securities.  Brian was formerly a Vice President at Friedman, Billings, Ramsey Group, Inc., where he was a private equity investment professional focused on financial services and real estate finance companies.  Mr. Roth has a B.S.E. in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
